Comfort
"Tonight is really beautiful. Come see", my sister said to me.
Have you ever had a night or a day, when things just didn't seem to be going right? When you seemed stressed and flustered because of all the things that happened to be on your mind?
Often times when I sit at night and look up at God's creation, I marvel at His handywork and His awesome power. Psalms 19:1 says that the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
I've heard it coined this way that God is omni-potent meaning all-powerful, omni-scient meaning all-knowing, omni-present meaning all-present and also omni-personal meaning all-loving. God cares about His creation. He cares about mankind. After God prepared the earth, He created man and when God saw every thing that He had made, He saw that it was very good.
I often feel comforted by the truth that as His Child, a born-again believer, the God who created the heavens and the earth and who holds everything in place, is in control of my life and is concerned with me and with all, that concerns me.
Thank You Lord.
Thank You Lord.
Psalms 139: 13-18 (KJV)
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
Helping in anyway is very important. In a video I saw today in a group chat, a baby was crying and his bigger brother I assume who looked like no older than two years old, placed a pacifier that was on the bed where they weSre laying into the baby's mouth. The baby stopped crying. This is a perfect example of helping.
Having seen the video, I can remember a portion of scripture in Luke 10:25-37 about THE GOOD SAMARITAN. I can be wrong and you can easily correct me but my view of helping is giving a lending hand with no expectations of anything in return.
Prayer:
Dear God I ask today that you may open our hearts so that we can have that willingness to help others in time of need in Jesus' name amen.
God provides
In times of difficulty, God provides. Whether it's a new job, a new place, a new school, whatever we have need of, God is well able to provide. God is able to make all things work together for our good. He wants the best for us as His children and is faithful to do it. Over these past few weeks, I've experienced God's provisions in my life in these ways, and I am thankful! God is truly faithful, and will provide.
Prayer:

Protection
There are many times in our lives when we face seen and unseen dangers. By that I mean, sometimes we can see what's ahead, and we know that it's dangerous. At other times, we are caught totally off-guard. I have experienced this before. In all of this, God is able to protect us when we are in danger. He works things out for us sometimes in ways that we can't even understand with our natural
eyes. As His children, His eyes are always on us, and He sees what we can't. He is always looking out for us. Before I was saved, He was looking out for me too and protecting me from danger. Thank You Lord for your love and protection.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for looking out for me and protecting me. I receive your protection and love today. I declare that your grace is sufficient for me. Continue to look out for me and protect me from danger. Thank You Lord, in Jesus' name I pray Amen.
