It's the most wonderful time of the year!...

Image
Christmas , the time when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Although, it is that time of the year when, for some of us, we feel extra warm inside and happy all over, it can also be the busiest. It's that time of year when Christmas cleaning is all a-go, and the house gets a top-down cleanout! It's that time of the year when we get all decked out, as old decorations get pulled from in and above the cupboards, and beautiful lights adorn towns and villages. While all of these things are in full-swing, I encourage us to be reminded to not lose sight of the true reason for Christmas. Let's celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by remembering His birthday and spending extra time with Him individually, and thanking Him for His great sacrifice for us. Let's not forget our Church family as we encourage each other there also. Let's celebrate Jesus by spending quality time with our loved ones, and put love into action. Testimony of God's faithfulness!

"I’m a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness in my life." In 2014, I embarked on this journey of completing my Bachelor’s degree. Three years later, I graduate with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Biology with First class honours. It was not easy but God kept me. Even getting to that point to begin this particular journey was not easy. I’m a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness in my life. Throughout those journeys, the importance of family really stood out to me, and through it all, I love my family all the more, not forgetting my godparents! What I can say here is only a short glimpse into the latest journey. Even before embarkment, I believe God was already preparing and making a way for me. Devotional: Protection

There are many times in our lives when we face seen and unseen dangers. By that I mean, sometimes we can see what's ahead, and we know that it's dangerous. At other times, we are caught totally off-guard. I have experienced this before. In all of this, God is able to protect us when we are in danger. He works things out for us sometimes in ways that we can't even understand with our natural eyes. As His children, His eyes are always on us, and He sees what we can't. He is always looking out for us. Before I was saved, He was looking out for me too and protecting me from danger. Thank You Lord for your love and protection. Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank You for looking out for me and protecting me. I receive your protection and love today. I declare that your grace is sufficient for me. Continue to look out for me and protect me from danger. Thank You Lord, in Jesus' name I pray Amen. Scriptures on protection that I find comfort in:  Psalm 91  Psalm 23
