Testimony of God's faithfulness!
"I’m a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness in my life."
In 2014, I embarked on this journey of completing my Bachelor’s degree. Three years later, I graduate with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Biology with First class honours. It was not easy but God kept me. Even getting to that point to begin this particular journey was not easy. I’m a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and goodness in my life. Throughout those journeys, the importance of family really stood out to me, and through it all, I love my family all the more, not forgetting my godparents! What I can say here is only a short glimpse into the latest journey.
Even before embarkment, I believe God was already preparing and making a way for me. He made it such that I didn’t have to worry about accommodation. He blessed my sister and allowed me to part-take in her blessing.
In the process, when I missed home, (and I did!), I was able to have the comfort of my family to press through it (yes, they went through with me!), and awesome friends who remembered and checked up on me. Through all of it, God let me know that I wasn’t alone. He was with me, as He promised that He will never leave or forsake His children, and my family and friends were also with me. The great comfort that their very presence brought was more than words can describe.
God provided spiritual and physical strength and comfort through His Holy Spirit and His word. In the wee hours of the morning, when exhaustion rolled in, (and it did!), God gave added grace. He gave enablement to go on and truly refreshed and strengthened me over and over and over again. When I was oblivious of nearby dangers, He provided protection through His angels. God gave me a place to worship Him freely, and to find fellowship with other believers. My experience at University drew me closer to the Lord. He provided everything that I needed to go through, and for all and in all of it, I’m thankful to God.
I gained a sound education, good friends and an even greater appreciation for family, to name a few. I’m thankful to all of my lecturers and additional resources, and was inspired to learn more in selected fields. I’m thankful for my Church family at home (Campden Park Wesleyan Holiness Church) who remembered me in prayer and encouraged me often. I got to know persons from different backgrounds and to gain good friends. I was able to be a source of encouragement and inspiration for my colleagues.
For all of it, and in all of it, I give God thanks. He’s an awesome Father!
Looking to the future, I place it all in God’s hands! He is faithful.
